Last week we celebrated the completion of our Interactive Read Aloud, Little Dog Lost, and our non-fiction dog research with a special Dog Day! Even though our day was cut short with a 2 hour delay, we worked on "dog" themed math, watched a special movie connected to our read aloud, and brought in our special stuffed dogs and special themed dog snacks.

Science: Students participated in an exploration activity last week. Students had to decide which insect mouth type best matches each food type. Students were then able to determine how each inset has adapted to meet their food source.
