A special PBL project this week to learn about Chinese Lunar New Year.

Celebrating the end of Saving Winslow by Sharon Creech. This book was a bit hit in our class. Students took a side and debated whether farm animals should be allowed in town (unfortunately Winslow was not allowed to stay with Louie in the book). Then students used the engineering design process to build a pen for Winslow. 

Finally, we celebrated World Read Aloud day on Wednesday. Students shared a book with a classmates and the painted a watercolor of their favorite scene.
